GAUGE:
8 sts = 4" (10 cm) in sc. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
Blanket is worked by making each quarter of the inner square attached to the previously worked square. For more portable project, make 4 Squares #1 and join with initial ch rows at center. Then work edge as below.

I really liked making this blanket. It was simple to make. All of the squares are crocheted together so you don't have to sew them together.
