2-Color Crocheted Scarf

GAUGE: 11 stitches and 6 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in double crochet
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: When changing colors, leave a 6 inches end for weaving in.

SCARF
With A, chain 19. Double crochet in 4th chain from hook and in each chain to end - 16 double crochets and 1 turning-chain.
Row 1 Chain 3, double crochet in each stitch across - 16 double crochets and 1 turning-chain. Turn.
Repeat Row 1 for 6 inches. Break off A. Join B and repeat Row 1 for 6 inches. Break off B. Continue alternating between Colors A and B until 15 stripes have been worked ending with A. Fasten off A and weave in all ends.
