GAUGE: Gauge is not important to this project
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

WRISTWATCH BAND
Make a slip knot and place on crochet hook. Holding the wristwatch in one hand, insert the crochet hook into the center. With crochet hook, grab yarn and pull under band, *yarn over and pull through both loops on hook (single crochet just made); repeat from * until band is fully covered. Chain 1, join to beginning single crochet with slip stitch. Break yarn, leaving a tail at least 5 inches long, and pull the ends through the remaining loop. With blunt needle, weave in tail between band and crochet.
