Red Hot Scarf and Hatband
Lion Brand® Fun Fur®
GAUGE: 8 stitches = 4 inches [10 cm] in single crochet with 1 strand of each yarn held together.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
Make hatband first; scarf is worked from the balance of the yarn. Scarf is worked is worked holding 1 strand of each color of Fun Fur (or two of the red) together throughout.

HATBAND
With 1 strand of each yarn held together, chain 4 stitches.
Row 1 Single crochet in second chain from hook and in each chain across – 3 stitches. Continue in single crochet until piece measures 21 inches or desired length. Slip stitch ends together, fluffing fur out of seam.
