Bi-Color Skinny Scarf

Lion Brand® Fun Fur - Trellis

GAUGE:

8 stitches + 6 rows = 4" [10 cm] in single crochet with 1 strand each of Fun Fur and Trellis held together. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NOTES:

Scarf is crocheted with 1 strand of Fun Fur and 1 strand of Trellis held together throughout.

Scarf
With 1 strand of Fun Fur in color A and 1 strand of Trellis, chain 6 stitches.
Row 1 Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook and in each chain across; turn – 5 single crochets.
Row 2 Chain 1, single crochet in each single crochet across; turn.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 18 inches [45.5 cm] from beginning.
Next Row Drop A and, with B and Trellis, chain 1. Single crochet in each single crochet across; turn.

Continue in single crochet until piece measures 36 inches [91.5 cm]. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Fringe

Cut 40 pieces of Trellis, each 16 inches [40.5 cm] long. For each fringe, hold 4 strands of yarn together and fold in half. Use crochet hook to draw fold through edge of Scarf, forming a loop. Pull ends of fringe through this loop. Pull to tighten. Make 5 fringes along each short side. Trim fringe if necessary.

I've made half a dozen or so of these so far (for christmas gifts). It is an easy & fast pattern. I used the fun fur but made it one solid color, not a bi-color.
