Pocket Scarf & Beret
Lion Brand® Chenille Thick & Quick®
GAUGE: 6 sc = 4 inches (10 cm) on P hook. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Seed stitch is just the right pattern to show off this yarn. The purls highlighted the light colors in the yarn and the knit stitches the dark colors. I had trouble with worming until I dropped two needles sizes, which resolved that. The beret did not look at all like the pattern. I was not pleased with it. I would not recommend the yarn to beginners because the individual stitches are too hard to see.
