Purple Passion Crochet Wrap

Lion Brand® LB Collection® Silk Mohair

GAUGE:

2 shells and one pineapple at widest point = 8 in./20.5 cm; Rows 1–8 = 4 in./10 cm

When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

With a yarn needle, weave in ends. Immerse the piece in cool water, then squeeze out the excess water, taking care not to wring or twist. Place the piece on a towel on a flat surface and gently stretch to open up the lace pattern. Leave until completely dry.

Purple Passion Crochet Wrap Reviewed by Elizabeth Butts on 2014-11-17 *****
I don't find that it is 5ft long, and that is with me adding 50% more chains to start, however, it is GORGEOUS! I've made it as a wrap, as a scarf, as an infinity scarf...everyone LOVES. I even started playing with the pineapple and adding designs to fit people's personality! Works quick once you get the hang of the pattern.
