Three Easy Pieces Wrap

Lion Brand« Landscapes«

GAUGE:

4 V-sts = about 5 in. (12.5 cm).

When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Assembly

Refer to assembly diagrams to make Wrap.
Step 1: Sew one Front to upper side edge of Back.
Step 2: Fold Front, matching corners of Front and Back.
Step 3: Pin or baste side edge of Front and Back, then try Wrap on to determine size of armhole. Once you've decided how large you'd like the armhole to be, sew Front to Back at side below armhole.
Step 4: Rep with remaining Front.
Edging
From RS, join yarn with sl st in lower right front corner, ch 1, work sc evenly spaced up front edge, across back neck, and down left front edge.
Fasten off.
Armhole Edging
From RS, join yarn with sl st at underarm, ch 1, work sc evenly spaced around armhole edge; join with sl st in first sc.
Fasten off.
