Lion Brand® Vanna's Palettes

Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

kfb (knit into front and then back)
An increase worked as follows:
1. Knit the next st through the front loop, but do not remove the st from your left hand needle.
2. Knit the same st once more, this time inserting your needle through the back loop of the st. You will have created 2 loops (sts) on your right hand needle.
3. Drop the st from your left hand needle – you have increased 1 st.

1. Frog Head/Body is worked flat in 2 pieces, then seamed and stuffed.
2. Eyes, Arms and Legs are worked separately, then sewn on.
3. When you see "– 12 sts" in the instructions, this tells you how many sts you should have at the end of that specific row.

Filbert Frog Reviewed by Tori Showalter on 2015-03-13 ****
First, in the photo, there is an extra blue strip that isn't worked up in the pattern. Also, I ran out of yarn while making this project and had to improvise. That could have been my knitting though, I only had enough of the pea green to make 3 legs.

That being said, this pattern is adorable. This was my first attempt at making a stuffed animal and I think he came out great. I love Vanna's palettes. I did have to take some time figuring out which colors were which in the pattern, so maybe Vanna could label the colors in the pack. I embroidered his eyes instead of using safety eyes, because this will be going to an infant. Great pattern!!
