Lacy Stripes Throw

Lion Brand® Vanna's Choice®

GAUGE:

1 pattern rep = about 3 1/2 in. (9 cm); 7 rows = about 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern.

When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Making a Gauge Swatch

NOTES:

1. Throw is worked back and forth in rows.
2. Color is changed every 3 rows following the Color Sequence. To change color, fasten off old color, turn piece and join new color in first st as instructed.
3. A border is worked around the outside edge of completed Throw.

Works up nicely and the instructions were easy to follow. I was concerned that I wouldn't have enough yarn, but the recommended amount worked out perfectly. I made this as a wedding gift, in colors similar to the wedding's theme colors. The bride and groom loved it!
