With yarn tail, sew Skull Back to Skull Front, leaving a small section at lower edge unsewn.

Cut a skewer to about 4 1/2 in. (11.5 cm) long. Apply a small amount of glue to cut end of skewer, then insert skewer into lower edge of Skull between Front and Back, at unsewn section.

Halloween Cupcake Toppers Reviewed by Patricia Seaton on 2013-10-22 ****
I enjoyed the fast workup of these spiders. I didn't work 2nd set of legs from wrong side - I made the side being worked with legs the top and 2nd circle the bottom. They turned out cute. Thanks for the pattern.
