With 2 strands of yarn held together, and leaving a 6 in. (15 cm) beginning tail, chain 14.
Row 1: Work a half double crochet into the 3rd chain from hook, and in each remaining chain - 12 stitches.
Row 2: Chain 2, turn. Work a half double crochet in each stitch across.
Rep Row 2 until almost all yarn has been used. Fasten off.
You will have yarn tails at the beginning and at the end of your Scarf. Trim each tail to about 6 in. (15 cm) (no shorter!). To hide these tails, weave the hook in and out of a few stitches of your Scarf near one of the tails. Hook the yarn tail over your crochet hook and pull the tail through the Scarf. Do the same with the other tail.
