GAUGE:
Exact gauge is not essential to this project.
SCARF This yarn is a tube. Unwind the ball, then flatten the yarn tube. Holding one side of the tube with one hand, use your other hand to gently stretch the yarn widthwise. The edge of yarn that you stretched will ruffle slightly. You will be knitting along the opposite edge (the unruffled edge) of the yarn. Keep the short end of the yarn strand to your left and the longer length of the yarn to your right. The yarn to your right is the working yarn. Beginning at one end of the yarn, insert the left hand knitting needle through the unruffled edge of the yarn, close to the edge and about 4 in. (10 cm) from the end of yarn strand. This will make a loop of yarn on your left knitting needle. This loop is a 'stitch'. *Insert your right hand needle into the stitch, lift the working yarn and fold it back to your left, then insert your right needle into the working yarn, close to the edge and about 4 in. (10cm) from first stitch, pull through to make a new stitch on your right hand needle. Slip the new stitch back to the left hand needle. With the tip of your right hand needle, lift the first stitch on your left hand needle over the second stitch on your left hand needle (as if binding off). You now have one stitch on your left hand needle. Repeat from * until you have worked along the entire edge of the yarn. Slip the last loop off your needle and pull end of yarn through.
FINISHING With sewing thread and needle, sew yarn ends to the fabric of the Scarf.
