Loom Configuration
Use the following pieces: (2) 36-hole pieces, (4) 12-hole pieces, (4) 6-hole pieces, (4) corner pieces.
Connect pieces to form a rectangle as follows: 36-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece > 6-hole piece > 12-hole piece > 12-hole piece > corner piece > 36-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece > 6-hole piece > 12-hole piece > 12-hole piece > corner piece.
Leaving center 3 holes at each corner empty, insert a small pegs into every hole along each side of loom - 156 working pegs placed. Insert a contrast color peg in the upper right hand corner for slip knot.
A and B PLACEMATS (make 2)
Following loom manual instructions on WEAVING, set up warp with 1 strand of A, across the 33 pegs placed along each short side of loom.
Weave weft with 1 strand of B across the 45 pegs placed along each long side of loom.
Remove Placemat from loom.
A and C PLACEMATS (make 2)
Following loom manual instructions on WEAVING, set up warp with 1 strand of A, across the 33 pegs placed along each short side of loom.
Weave weft with 1 strand of C across the 45 pegs placed along each long side of loom.
Remove Placemat from loom.
FINISHING
Using yarn needle supplied with loom, weave yarn ends into fabric of Placemats. |
