Loom Configuration
Use the following pieces: (2) 36-hole pieces, (4) 12-hole pieces, (4) 6-hole pieces, (4) corner pieces.
Connect pieces to form a square as follows: 36-hole piece > corner piece > 36-hole piece > corner piece > 12-hole piece > 12-hole piece > 6-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece > 12-hole piece > 12-hole piece > 6-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece.
Placing pegs into every other hole, insert 20 small pegs on each side of loom - 80 small working pegs placed.
Place one contrast color small peg in upper right corner for slip knot.
LAPGHAN
Follow loom manual instructions on WEAVING for how to set up the warp, weave the weft, and remove weaving from the loom.
SQUARE (make 6)
Use one strand of yarn for both warp and weft.
FINISHING
Using yarn needle provided with loom, sew Squares together into 2 strips of 3 Squares each. Sew strips together to make Lapghan.
Using same needle, weave in ends. |
