Loom Configuration
Use the following pieces: (2) 36-hole pieces, (4) 12-hole pieces, (4) 6-hole pieces, (4) corner pieces.
Connect pieces to form a rectangle as follows: 36-hole piece > 12-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece > 12-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece > 6-hole piece > 12-hole piece > 36 hole piece > corner piece > 12-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece.
Insert a small peg into every hole along each 6-hole piece, 12-hole piece, and 36-hole piece. Insert one small peg into first and last holes of each corner piece - 152 working pegs placed, 40 for warp and 112 for weft. Insert one small contrast color peg into upper right corner to hold slip knot.
RECTANGLE (make 3)
Following loom manual instructions on WEAVING, set up warp with 2 strands held together, across the 20 pegs placed in each short side of the loom.
Weave weft with 2 strands held together across the 56 pegs placed in the remaining two sides of the loom.
Remove finished piece from loom.
FINISHING
Using yarn needle provided with loom, sew Rectangles together along short sides to make Scarf. With same needle, weave yarn ends into the fabric of the Scarf. |
