Loom Configuration
Use the following pieces: (2) 36-hole pieces, (4) 12-hole pieces, (4) 6-hole pieces, (4) corner pieces.
Connect pieces to form a rectangle as follows: 36-hole piece > 12-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece > 12-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece > 36-hole piece > 12-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece > 12-hole piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece.
Insert 30 small pegs into every other hole along each long side and 12 small pegs into every other hole along each short side of assembled loom - 84 small working pegs placed.
Place one contrast color small peg in upper right corner for slip knot.
SCARF
Follow loom manual instructions on WEAVING for how to set up the warp, weave the weft, and remove weaving from the loom.
RECTANGLE (make 4)
Use 1 strand of A for warp and 1 strand of B for weft.
FINISHING
Using yarn needle provided with loom and A, sew Rectangles together along short sides to make Scarf. Using same needle, weave in ends. |
