Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

NOTES:

The turning chains do not count as a stitch and they are not included in the stitch count at the end of each row. Do not work into the top of the turning chain when you reach the end of a row.

SCARF
Chain 58 VERY loosely.
Row 1: Work 2 double crochet in 4th chain from hook, *2 double crochet in next chain; repeat from * across - 110 double crochet at the end of this row.
Row 2: Chain 3, turn, double crochet in first stitch, 2 double crochet in next stitch, *double crochet in next stitch, 2 double crochet in next stitch; repeat from * across -165 double crochet at the end of this row.
Row 3: Chain 3, turn, double crochet in first 2 stitches, 2 double crochet in next stitch, *double crochet in next 2 stitches, 2 double crochet in next stitch; repeat from * across - 220 double crochet at the end of this row.
Fasten off.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.

Same comments as previously stated. Far too short and needs additional rows for fullness. It's very pretty though. I'm thinking of adding crochet flowers or maybe even a cute button and button hole. Somehow I will make this work!
