Colorful Striped Scarf
Lion Brand® Bonbons
GAUGE: 24 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Scarf is worked in Garter st (knit every row) in 8 different color sections. 2. In each section, 2 rows are worked with one color, then 2 rows with a second color. One color from each section is carried into the next section. 3. Do not cut either yarn color when working a section; instead, simply carry the unused color along the side edge of the work. 4. To create a neat edge on the Scarf, always slip the first st of every row as if to purl.
