Lion Brand® Tweed Stripes®
GAUGE: 7 sc + 9 rows = 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Scarf is worked lengthwise with 2 strands of yarn held tog.
2. The ribbing is created by working sts through the back loops only.

SCARF
With 2 strands of yarn held tog, ch 123.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - 122 sc at the end of this row.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, working in back loops only, sc in each sc across.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures about 8 in. (20.5 cm) from beginning. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends. |

crocheting this one for my BFF in New Hampshire so she stays nice and warm while going to work in the colder months..
This is a super easy and nice pattern to follow. I am still new at crocheting and following any patterns and this is only two different stitches. If you want a good looking and warm scarf for someone you love, or even yourself you definately need to try this one.. I may make one for myself .. Although I live in MS lol .. Thank you for sharing this pattern .. Will make many more.. Audrey will post pic soon
