Lion Brand® Vanna's Sequins
GAUGE: 21 stitches = 4 in. (10 cm) in Stockinette stitch (knit on right side, purl on wrong side). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

WRISTERS (make 2)
Cast on 42 stitches.
Row 1 (wrong side): Knit 2, purl 38, knit 2.
Row 2 (right side): Knit.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until piece measures about 6 1/2 in. (16.5 cm) from beginning.
Bind off.
FINISHING
Fold Wrister in half, bringing first row to meet last row. Sew edges together for 1 in. (2.5 cm), leave next 1 1/2 in. (4 cm) open for thumb, then sew remainder of edges together. Weave in ends. |
