Loop Pillow
Lion Brand® Chenille
GAUGE: 7 sc = 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: | Loop st (worked on RS, all in one st) Insert hook in indicated st and draw up a loop; form a loop in front of work as follows: Bring working yarn to the front; hold working yarn with finger or thumb of hand holding the hook. Leaving a loop about 1 in. (2.5 cm) long of yarn in the front, bring working yarn to back of work. Insert hook in same st and draw up a loop (3 loops on hook). Yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook to complete the st and lock the loop in place. |
NOTES: Pillow is crocheted in one piece with Loop sts on the front half and single crochet on the back half.
