Warm Graphic Dishcloths
Lion Brand® Kitchen Cotton
GAUGE: 14 sc + 16 rows = 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Dishcloth is worked from the center outwards, beginning with a Center Block. The chart provides an overview of the construction order.
2. Strips 1-4 are all worked in the second color around the Center Block. Strips 5-8 are all worked in the third color and surround the previous Strips. Strips 9-12 are all worked in the fourth color and surround the previous Strips. Refer to chart for arrangement of Strips.
3. To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops to complete st.

LOVE this pattern ...I have been looking for a different square to use to create blankets/mats for sheltered animals and this TRULY fits the bill ... The old fashioned block pattern will help me to use up yarn leftover from other projects and provide a 'homey' place for sheltered pets to rest their precious paws ... Thank you, Lion Brand for another amazing project!
