First Half
With A, ch 82.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across; change to B in last st - 81 sc at the end of this row.
Row 2: With B, ch 5, turn, sk first 4 sc, sl st in next sc, *ch 5, sk next 3 sc, sl st in next sc; rep from * across - 20 ch-5 sps at the end of this row.
Row 3:With B, ch 1, turn, 8 sc in each ch-5 sp across - 160 sc at the end of this row. Do not fasten off.
Second Half
Row 4: With B, ch 1, do not turn, rotate piece to work across opposite side of foundation ch (bottom edge of Row 1), sc in first ch, sc in each ch across; change to A in last st - 81 sc at the end of this row.
Row 5: With A, rep Row 2.
Row 6:With A, rep Row 3. Do not fasten off.
Edging
Round 7: With A, do not turn, sl st in first sc of last row of first half, ch 4 (counts as dc, ch 1), dc in next st, *ch 1, dc in next st; rep from * across, place a marker in the last dc made, ch 1, dc in side of Scarf between the 2 halves and change to B; working across sts of next half, ch 1, dc in first st, **ch 1, dc in next st; rep from ** across, ch 1, dc in side of Scarf between the 2 halves, ch 1; join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch - 322 dc and 322 ch-1 sps at the end of this rnd.
Do not fasten off.
Chain Loops
With B, ch 8, turn, (sl st, ch 12, sl st) in next ch-1 sp, ch 16, (sl st, ch 12, sl st) in next ch-1 sp, ch 8, sl st in next ch-1 sp. Fasten off.
