Bright Granny Throw
Lion Brand® Jamie®
GAUGE: 14 dc + 8 rows = 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: Throw is worked in joined rnds, with RS facing at all times. Join last st of each rnd with sl st in first st. Do not turn at beg of rnds.

| I just started to make this pattern into several granny squares for my niece. I like the pattern and found it overall pretty easy to follow (it was my first "In a round" pattern I've done, so I was a bit intimidated). The only thing I would make more CLEAR in the pattern is that when completing the corners, you should crochet into the hole created by the chain one space, not into the chain itself, as it makes the corner bulge weirdly. I only realized this after completing 1/4 of my project (so many squares!) and looking at the photo more closely. I'm sure it will turn out fine, but I wanted to point that out in case it could help someone else. :D
