Ch 2.
Rnd 1 (RS): Work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook; join with sl st in first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around; join with sl st in first sc - 12 sc at the end of this rnd.
Rnd 3: Ch 3 (counts as first dc in this rnd and in all following rnds), 2 dc in next sc, *dc in next sc, 2 dc in next sc; rep from * around; join with sl st in top of beg ch - 18 dc at the end of this rnd.
Rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in next st, 2 dc in next st, *dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in top of beg ch - 24 dc at the end of this rnd.
Rnds 5-9: Ch 3, dc in each st around; join with sl st in top of beg ch.
Do not fasten off.
Handle
Note: Handle is worked back and forth in rows.
Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc in this row and in all following rows), dc in next 2 sts; leave rem sts unworked.
Rows 2-7: Ch 3, turn, dc in next st, dc in top of turning ch.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
With sewing needle and thread, sew the end of the handle to the other side of the Bag. With sewing needle and thread, sew yarn ends to inside of bag. |
