GAUGE: Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

NECKLACE
Cut three 36 in. (91.5 cm) lengths of yarn and set aside for wraps.
Wrap remaining yarn around the long side of the cardboard as many times as desired.
Leaving ends long enough to tie, cut yarn, then tie the beginning and ending yarn tails together.
Keeping all strands held together in one hand, slip cardboard out.
Wraps
With one of the yarn lengths you set aside, wrap all strands of Necklace, covering knotted ends. With needle and thread, take a few stitches through wrap to secure it to the Necklace.
Repeat to make 2 more wraps, each about 5 in. (13 cm) apart. |
