Two Strand Braided Headband
Lion Brand® Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick®
GAUGE:
Exact gauge is not essential to this project.
NOTES:
1. The Headband is made of 3 Strips, each Strip is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together.
2. Wind the ball of yarn into 2 separate balls before beginning.
STRIP (make 3, all the same)
With 2 strands of yarn held together (so that you are using the yarn doubled), cast on 4 stitches.
Work in Stockinette stitch (knit on right side, purl on wrong side) until Strip measures 23 in. (58.5 cm) from beginning.
Bind off.
FINISHING
Lay the 3 Strips onto a flat surface, all with the right side facing up. With the binder clip, clip the Strips together at one end, then braid them.
Thread the blunt needle with a single strand of yarn and sew the ends of the Strips neatly together to make a circle.
Weave the yarn ends into the wrong side of the Headband.
