GAUGE: 7 V-sts + 8 1/2 rows = about 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: | V-st (V-stitch) (Dc, ch 1, dc) in indicated st or sp. |

Ch 130.
Row 1: V-st in 5th ch from hook, *sk next 2 ch, V-st in next ch; rep from * to last 2 ch, sk next ch, dc in last ch - 42 V-sts at the end of this row.
Rows 2-46: Ch 3, turn, V-st in each ch-1 sp across, dc in top of beg ch.
Do not fasten off.
Border
Ch 1, turn, work sc's evenly spaced around outside edge of Blanket, working 3 sc in each corner; join with sl st in beg ch. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.
