Fiesta Dishcloths
Lion Brand® Kitchen Cotton
GAUGE: 12 sts = about 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Dishcloth is worked back and forth in rows, changing color at the end of every row.
2. To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops to complete the st. Fasten off old color.
3. Edging is worked around outside edge of Dishcloth.

DISHCLOTH I
With A, ch 47.
Row 1 (RS): Dc in 4th ch from hook (beg ch counts as dc) and each ch across - 45 sts at the end of this row. Change to B.
Row 2: With B, ch 2, turn, hdc in each st across. Change to A.
Row 3: With A, rep Row 2. Change to C.
Row 4: With C, rep Row 2. Change to A.
Row 5: With A, rep Row 2. Change to D.
Row 6: With D, rep Row 2. Change to A.
Row 7: With A, ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. Change to C.
Row 8: With C, rep Row 2. Change to A.
Row 9: With A, ch 3, turn, dc in each st across. Change to D.
Row 10: With D, rep Row 2. Change to A.
Row 11: With A, rep Row 2. Change to B.
Row 12: With B, rep Row 2. Change to A.
Row 13: With A, rep Row 2. Change to D.
Row 14: With D, rep Row 2. Change to A.
Row 15: With A, rep Row 9. Change to C.

Edging and Hanging Loop
From RS, join C with sl st in a corner, sc evenly spaced around outside edge of Dishcloth, working 3 sc in each corner; join with a sl st in first sc, ch 18 (for hanging loop), sl st in first sc again. Fasten off.
Weave in ends.

With E, ch 47.
