Garter Stitch One-Ball Hat
Lion Brand® Tweed Stripes®
GAUGE: 14 1/2 stitches = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

HAT
Cast on 30 stitches.
Work in Garter stitch (knit every row) until piece measures about 20 in. (51 cm) from beginning.
Bind off.
FINISHING
Fold piece in half matching short edges. Seam together along short edges to make a tube. Thread a strand of yarn through stitches around one open end of tube, pull to gather top of Hat. Knot securely. Weave in ends. |

| Very easy to follow pattern. This is my new go to hat. Made for adult. I have also made thick headbands with a flower out of Tweed Stripe. Love the color selection of this yarn.
