Double-Crochet One-Ball Scarf

Lion Brand® Tweed Stripes

GAUGE:

16 double crochet = about 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

SCARF
Chain 24.
Row 1: Double crochet in 4th chain from hook and in each chain across.
Row 2: Chain 3, turn, double crochet in each stitch across.
Repeat last row until almost all yarn has been used. Fasten off.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.

I love making this scarf. I have crocheted a lot of different patterns and this one is so easy and quick. It is a really good beginner project that is quick enough to see results and feel like you have accomplished something.
