Color Spectrum Afghan
Lion Brand® Silky Twist
GAUGE: 10 dc + 5 rows = 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Afghan is made from 7 Panels, each worked separately and then sewed together.
2. Yarn colors change throughout each Panel. To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops to complete st.
3. The Afghan was designed without a border.

I made this in the suggested colors, then by the 5th panel I realized I didn't like all the color combinations and stopped. I love contrast so the beginning is lovely. The cherry red and paradise pink are so similar you can't tell the difference in soft light. The 3 purples also blend so the 2nd half is rather dull.
If I were to do it again I would chose other colors for the second half.
It is nice and thick, soft and warm.
