1 ripple = about 2 1/2 in. (6.5 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:
sc2tog (sc decrease) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook - 1 st decreased.
NOTES:
1. This project is worked in a ripple crochet pattern. The ripple pattern is easy to do, but it's important to remember that you may need to work several rows before the ripple pattern becomes clear.
2. To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops to complete st. Fasten off old color.
3. Work over yarn ends of old color or weave in ends as you work.

Bello Ripple Throw Reviewed by susan blanco on 2012-04-20
Easy and quick to make. Looks great, everywhere I bring, people admire it. I will be donating mine to a charity auction.
One thing though, I found that 1 ball of D (Rust) was not enough. I had to run out and buy another to finish the project.
