Loom Woven Bracelet

Lion Brand® Martha Stewart CraftsTM/MC Mambo

Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

1. Follow loom manual instructions on WEAVING for how to set up the warp, weave the weft, and remove weaving from the loom.
2. Warp is set up along the 6 large pegs placed along short sides of assembled loom.
3. Weft is woven across the 15 large pegs placed along long sides of assembled loom.

Loom Configuration
Use the following pieces: (4) 12-hole pieces, (2) 6-hole pieces and (4) corner pieces.

Connect pieces to form a rectangle as follows: 12-hole piece > 12-hole piece > corner piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece > 12-hole piece > 12-hole piece > corner piece > 6-hole piece > corner piece.
Insert 15 large pegs into every other hole along each long side and 6 large pegs into every other hole along each short side of assembled loom - 42 working pegs placed.
Insert one contrast color peg in upper right hand corner for slip knot.

Set up warp and weave weft.

Fold Bracelet in half, with short sides together. Cut a 13 in. (33 cm) length of yarn. Using fingers, weave length in and out of each short side of Bracelet to form a tube.
Using crochet hook provided with loom, weave yarn ends into the fabric of Bracelet and secure with needle and thread.

Love the look of this yarn Reviewed by Jenny on 2012-12-31 *****
I am writing in response to the other reviewer who gave a 1-star review based on the "ugly yarn." It doesn't sound like they tried the pattern, but that they just wanted to troll around on the site and write negative things. I saw these bracelets in the NYC yarn studio and thought they were super cool! I purchased the yarn in red and turquoise, but haven't gotten around to trying the pattern yet. Just wanted others to not be scared away by the other uninformed reviewer.
