STONE (make 2)
With A, chain 2.
Round 1: Work 6 single crochet stitches in first chain. Place a marker in the first stitch. This marks the beginning of a round. Move the marker up each time you complete a round.
Round 2: *Work 2 single crochet stitches in each stitch around. You will have 12 stitches at the end of Round 2.
Round 3: *Work 2 single crochet stitches in next stitch, 1 single crochet in next stitch; repeat from * around. You will have 18 stitches at the end of Round 3.
Round 4: *Work 2 single crochet stitches in next stitch, 1 single crochet in each of next 2 stitches; repeat from * around. You will have 24 stitches at the end of Round 4.
Round 5: *Work 2 single crochet stitches in next stitch, 1 single crochet in each of next 3 stitches; repeat from * around. You will have 30 stitches at the end of Round 5.
Round 6: *Work 2 single crochet stitches in next stitch, 1 single crochet in each of next 4 stitches; repeat from * around. You will have 36 stitches at the end of Round 6.
Round 7: *Work 2 single crochet stitches in next stitch, 1 single crochet in each of next 5 stitches; repeat from * around. You will have 42 stitches at the end of Round 7.
Round 8: *Work 2 single crochet stitches in next stitch, 1 single crochet in each of next 6 stitches; repeat from * around. You will have 48 stitches at the end of Round 8.
Fasten off.
With C, embroider a straight stitch Deathly Hallows symbol (a triangle approximately 2 in. (5 cm.) on each side, with a circle inside and a straight line across) on one Stone. Sew Stones with wrong sides together, adding a small amount of stuffing before sewing closed.
SETTING
With B, chain 2.
Rounds 1-8: Repeat Rounds 1-8 of Stone.
Round 9: Single crochet in each stitch around.
Fasten off.
Sew Stone to Setting.
BAND
Note: Chain more to make a larger Band or less to make a smaller Band. With C, chain 14.
Row 1: Work a single crochet stitch into the 2nd chain from your hook, and in each of the remaining chains.
Row 2: Turn. Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch across.
Rows 3 and 4: Repeat Row 2.
Sew long edges of Band together to make a tube. Sew ends of Band together, then sew Band to back of Setting.
