Eight-Color Afghan
Lion Brand® Vanna's Choice®
GAUGE:
1 Square = about 7 x 7 in. (18 x 18 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
1. Throw is made from 30 Squares; 6 squares each of 5 different color sequences.

I made this for my daughter and I enjoyed making it very much. The granny squares are easy despite the color changes but the finish work is a bit tedious. It worked up small so instead of just the two rows of color around the border I used up the remaining yarn and did approximately 10 rows. It increased the size perfectly and used up the yarn that would otherwise sit! I love the colors my daughter selected - very cheerful!!
