Star Scarf

GAUGE:

27 sts = about 5 in. (12.5 cm) in pattern.
EXACT GAUGE IS NOT ESSENTIAL TO THIS PROJECT.

NOTES:

Carry unused color along side edge of work.

SCARF
With A, cast on 27 sts.
Row 1: (WS) Purl.
Row 2: K2, *yo, k3, pass first of the 3 knit sts over the 2nd and 3rd sts; rep from * to last st, k1.
Row 3: Change to B, purl.
Row 4: K1, *k3, pass first of the 3 knit sts over the 2nd and 3rd sts, yo; rep from * to last 2 sts, k2. Change to A.
Repeat Rows 1-4 until piece measures about 50 in. (127 cm) from beg. End with a WS row.
Bind off.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.

I like this pattern. It was easy to follow. I did it with white (diamond) and blue (sapphire) since I'm not a pink fan. Everyone I showed it to wants one now.
