BRACELET
Note: Work bracelet on a flat surface.
Using full ball of yarn and following diagram, fold yarn into 3 sections with a 24 in. (61 cm) yarn tail at each end. With sewing needle and thread, sew folded strands together and, following diagram, leave 1/2 in. (1.5 cm) unsewn at each end.
Fold sewn strand strip into thirds again and sew strips together at one end. Braid, pulling the free end through the looped ends. Sew strands together at opposite end.
FINISHING
Pull yarn tails through the 1/2 in. (1 cm) loops on either end of braid.
Knot yarn tails together. Trim ends.
NECKLACE
Cut a 20 in. (51 cm) length of yarn and set aside. Cut remainder of this ball into 5 equal lengths. From remaining ball, cut 5 additional strands of yarn the same length.
With needle and thread, sew all 10 lengths together at one end.
Twist and loosely braid the strands.
Sew ends of strands to previously sewn ends to form Necklace.
FINISHING
Wrap the yarn length you set aside around the Necklace to cover the sewn ends. With sewing needle and thread, sew the ends of the wrap to secure.
