Glitter Checkerboard Pillow

GAUGE: 14 sts + 20 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Stockinette st (k on RS, p on WS). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Pillow is worked in one piece.
2. The piece is folded in half and seamed around a pillow form.
3. When working large blocks of color, twist yarns on WS when you change colors to prevent holes where colors meet.

PILLOW
With A, cast on 42 sts.
Row 1 (WS): With A, p21, change to B and p to end of row.
Row 2: With B, k21, change to A and k to end of row.
Row 3: Rep Row 1.
Rows 4-29: Rep last 2 rows 13 more times.
Row 30: With B, k to end of row.
Row 31: With B, p21, change to A and p to end of row.
Row 32: With A, k21, change to B and k to end of row.
Row 33: Rep Row 31.
Rows 34-59: Rep last 2 rows 13 more times.
Row 60: With A, k to end of row.
Rep Rows 1-60 once more.
Bind off.
FINISHING
Fold Pillow piece in half, bringing WS together and matching points where color blocks meet. Seam along two sides.
Insert pillow form and seam remaining side. Weave in ends.
