Loom Knit Glitter Cowl
Lion Brand® Martha Stewart CraftsTM/MC Glitter Eyelash
GAUGE: 11 sts = about 4 in. (10 cm).
EXACT GAUGE IS NOT ESSENTIAL FOR THIS PROJECT. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Follow loom manual instructions for SINGLE KNITTING for how to cast on, knit, bind off and change color.
2. Cowl is knit on only one side of the loom. Loom is configured into an oval to accommodate the large number of stitches.
3. Small pegs are only used to hold loom together. Do not knit onto small pegs.
4. Cowl is knit as a rectangle, then seamed together.

Loom Configuration
Use the following pieces: (2) 36-hole pieces, (2) 28-hole semi-circular pieces.
Connect pieces to form an oval as follows: 36-hole piece > 28-hole semi-circular piece > 36-hole piece > 28-hole semi-circular piece.
Place one small peg in each connecting hole to hold loom together.
Insert 34 large pegs into every other hole along one long side and semi-circular pieces of assembled loom - 34 working pegs placed.
COWL
Following loom manual instructions, with A, cast onto all working pegs.
Row 1: Knit.
Repeat Row 1 until piece measures about 22 in. (56 cm) from beginning.
Bind off, leaving a long tail.
FINISHING
Fold Cowl in half, matching last row to first row. Thread yarn tail through yarn needle provided with loom and sew Cowl together to form a tube. Thread yarn ends through same needle, and weave ends into the fabric of the Cowl.
