Simple Hat
Lion Brand® Vanna's Colors
GAUGE: 14 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Stockinette st worked in the rnd (k every rnd). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| I was asked for a watch cap as a Christmas gift and this pattern looked just right. I used Homespun and #8 and #9 double circular needles for a nice dense texture. The needles were a handful but the pattern is a quick knit. The instructions are easy to follow and the finished product is gorgeous! Nicely shaped and very warm.
