Beginner's Luck Scarf
Lion Brand® Vanna's Colors
GAUGE: 14 stitches = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

SCARF
Cast on 25 stitches.
Work in Garter stitch (knit every row) for 60 in. (152.5 cm).
Bind off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends. |

This is a very easy pattern to do. I knit mine in three days and I'm a beginner knitter. It calls for 3 skiens on size 10 needles as given in instructions. The scarf turned out to be 54" rather than the 60" as in the pattern. I was very disappointed. If you follow this pattern be sure to buy that extra skien -- 4 Vanna's Colors rather than 3. Scarf is beautiful, warm, snuggly, and attractive.
