Twisted Strand Necklace

Exact gauge is not essential to this project.


NECKLACE
Cut 5 lengths of A, each about 29 in. (73.5 cm). Lay yarn lengths side by side onto a flat surface. With sewing needle and thread, and following diagram, sew lengths together to make a flat rectangle 5 strands of yarn wide. Roll assembled rectangle into a tube and twist. Stitch long sides of rectangle together along the twist to form a tube. Tuck ends of strands into tube and sew in place with a few stitches.

FINISHING
Sew jump ring to one end of Necklace. Sew clasp to opposite end of necklace.

Fun to knit - 30minutes maximum to complete.
I am not sure of the finishing at the back. What do you suggest.
I am inclined to leave it without clasp.
I consider it to be of an 'ethnic' nature.
