Stripes And Arrows Afghan
Lion Brand® Homespun®
GAUGE: 10 1/2 hdc + 7 rows = 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Afghan is made from 5 Strips; 3 of Strip A and 2 of Strip B.
2. Each Strip is worked in two colors following a color chart.
3. When following charts, RS rows are the odd-numbered rows, WS rows are the even numbered rows. Read RS chart rows from right to left and WS chart rows from left to right. Each box represents one hdc.
4. To change color, work the last st of old color to the last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops to complete the st. Do not cut old colors. Carry old color across the top of the previous row working over the old color with the new color.
