COLLAR
Chain 28.
Row 1: 2 double crochet in 4th chain from hook, *2 double crochet in next chain; repeat from * across - 50 double crochet at the end of this row.
Row 2: Chain 3, turn, double crochet in first stitch, 2 double crochet in next stitch, *double crochet in next stitch, 2 double crochet in next stitch; repeat from * across-75 double crochet at the end of this row.
Row 3: Chain 3, turn, double crochet in first 2 stitches, 2 double crochet in next stitch, *double crochet in next 2 stitches, 2 double crochet in next stitch; repeat from * across-100 double crochet at the end of this row. Fasten off.

Couldn't get it long enough despite three attempts. Pattern called for 30"; finally managed to get to 24". I started with more yardage than called for yet almost ran out. Would have if it had been the size called for. Great picture but mine looked nothing like it in size. Collar only with button needed.
