Little Dot Hat

Lion Brand® Martha Stewart CraftsTM/MC Roving Wool

GAUGE:

16 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st worked in the rnd (k every rnd). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

Change to larger needles and work in Little Dot pattern until piece measures about 9 in. (23 cm) from beg, end with a Rnd 1 or 3.

When working crown shaping rnds, continue in the Little Dot pattern. Adjust the pattern as needed so that B 'dots' are worked on alternate sts.

Little Dot Hat Reviewed by Barbara Whiteside on 2011-12-08 *****
Luv this pattern. I've made 2, 1 for my granddaughter in her school colors - red ribbing, white body and black dots and red ball. Her colors are red black and white. Really cute. I made one for a Christmas gift in blue and white much like the picture. Pattern quick and easy. Thanks Lion Brand.
