Mixed Stripe Baby Throw
Lion Brandฎ Martha Stewart CraftsTM/MC Cotton Hemp
GAUGE: 17 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| Mixed Stripe Baby Throw - a hit! Reviewed by debbiewellsokstateedu on 2012-02-17 |

| My daughter saw this pattern and loved the colors, so I just had to make it for our first grandson. As a personal touch, I worked a heart shape in reverse stockinette into the last green row (about 9 by 9 stitches). When I discovered there was plenty of yarn, I added 4 extra rows with color B (at rows 141-148, because this is for a longer baby). The finished throw drapes well and the yarn is not difficult to work with. Had a complete ball of color D yarn left over, so I'll be making some dishcloths. Definitely would make this again - maybe in a different colorway substituting pink(A), lemon drop(B) heather(C) and violet(D).
