GAUGE: Exact gauge is not essential to this project.
STITCH EXPLANATION: | Adjustable ring method: Wrap yarn around index finger. Insert hook into ring on finger, yarn over and draw up a loop, then ch 1. Carefully slip ring from finger and work stitches of first rnd into ring. When first rnd is complete gently, but firmly, pull tail to tighten center of ring |
NOTES: To change color, work last stitch of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete stitch. Do not cut old color. Carry color not in use up wrong side of work.

DISHCLOTH
With A, make adjustable ring.
Rnd 1: With A, work 3 sc in ring; change to B, work 3 sc in ring; join with sl st in first sc - 6 sts at the end of this rnd.
Rnd 2: With B, 2 sc in each of next 3 sc; change to A, 2 sc in each of last 3 sc; join with sl st in first sc - 12 sts.
Rnd 3: With A, (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times; change to B, (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times; join with sl st in first sc - 18 sts at the end of this rnd.
Rnd 4: With B, (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times; change to A, (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times; join with sl st in first sc - 24 sts.
Rnd 5: With A, (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times; change to B, (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times; join with sl st in first sc - 30 sts.
Rnd 6: With B, (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times; change to A, (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times; join with sl st in first sc - 36 sts.
Rnd 7: With A, (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times; change to B, (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times; join with sl st in first sc - 42sts.
Rnd 8: With B, (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times; change to A, (sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 3 times; join with sl st in first sc - 48 sts.
