Low temperature glue and glue gun

Materials are sufficient to make 3 Snowflakes.
 

Crafted Snowflakes

Lion Brand® Martha Stewart CraftsTM/MC Glitter Eyelash

GAUGE:

Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

SMALL SNOWFLAKE
Cut three 4 in. (10 cm) lengths of straw. With low temperature glue gun, glue 2 straws together at center to form an 'X' shape. Glue third straw across the 'X' . Flatten glued center slightly. Glue one end of yarn to center of glued straws. Wrap yarn around one leg of straw to end. Glue yarn to end of straw, then wrap yarn back down to center. Repeat wrapping and gluing on remaining legs of Snowflake. Trim yarn end and glue to center of Snowflake.

 

LARGE SNOWFLAKE
Make same as Small Snowflake, using three 8 in. (20.5 cm) straws.

 

LARGE 8-POINTED SNOWFLAKE
Glue two 8 in. (20.5 cm) straws together at center to form a 't' shape. Cut two 6 in. (15 cm) lengths of straw and glue centers in an 'X' across the 't'.
Wrap with yarn same as for the Small Snowflake.
